Planning a Halloween-themed party? While Halloween costumes and decorations are important, the food is what people are really looking forward to. Fire up the gas grill for an easy-to-make haunted feast that is sure to please even the pickiest of ghouls. Here are 2 delicious Monster Burger recipes that every little monster will enjoy sinking their teeth into.

1 red onion, finely chopped
300g minced beef
1 clove garlic, crushed
100g fresh breadcrumbs
1 tbsp tomato chutney
1 tsp fresh thyme chopped
½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
Lettuce & slices of tomato
Tomato ketchup, to serve
Cocktail sticks or thin straws
Measure all of the ingredients into a food processor. Whiz until finely chopped and the mixture has come together. Season and shape into 4 or 6 burgers.
Grill burgers on each side until cooked through.
Assemble your monster burgers with the salad ingredients, burger and fake teeth. Insert olives on two mini cocktail sticks or thin straws to make your monster eyes and insert into the top of the bun. Remember to remove cocktail sticks before serving to young children

1 envelope onion soup mix
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 1/2 pounds ground beef
10 slices process American cheese
10 hamburger buns, split
In a large bowl, combine soup mix, ketchup, brown sugar, horseradish and chili powder. Crumble beef over mixture; mix well. Shape into 10 patties.
Grill until the meat is no longer pink.
Cut eyes, nose and mouth out of each cheese slice to create a jack-o-lantern. Place cheese on burgers; cook until cheese is slightly melted, about 1 minute. Serve on buns.
